Hai! I’m Miray, your KL-style Malay language teacher from Selangor.
I specialize in teaching Manglish (Malay + English), which combines colloquial Malay and authentic Malay language used by Malaysians. I will also teach you Gen Z slang, social media short words, and casual convos you’d hear in a Kuala Lumpur café.
No stiff textbooks, just lively, practical language to make you sound like a local!
Having lived in Turkiye and Taiwan for few months, I love bridging cultures through language.
Whether you’re a total beginner or polishing fluency, let’s make learning fun games, chitchats, and zero stress.

For now I only open to teach ADULT.
I am here not only as your teacher but as your language buddy. I know how it feels when you already learn the language but still not confident to speak with stranger.
Do you having hard time to understand because Malaysians speak soo fast right ? With me, I will start with 0.75 speed and slowly increase up according to your pace!
I am still learning how to teach the most effective way, so I am open to any recommendations or suggestion of teaching style and materials from my students. 我提供的课程和我的教学风格
For a total beginner, I prefer to familiarize you with common vocabulary and short sentences.
I believe if you have mastered the basics, it will be faster for you to speak Malay.
What I will emphasize are VOCABULARY, PRONUNCIATION, CHITCHAT, READING, LISTENING skills.
There will be a variety of ways to do revision such as playing games, reading articles, audio tests,s etc.
There is NO homework unless you request to have one.
