Hi, I'm Miray from Selangor, Malaysia. I started teaching part time in Italki in 2020 after I finished my study but I stopped when I got my first job.
Now I decided to back on teaching Malay here and give a full time commitment.
I am a native Malay speaker and speak informal/colloquial KL Malay with NO dialect.
I have experience living in Turkiye and Taiwan for 6 months respectively.
Sometimes I do solo travel and do vlogging/blogging for my trip.教学经验
I am here not only as your teacher but as your language buddy. I know how it feels when you already learn the language but still not confident to speak with stranger.
I will share with you millenials generation slang such as takleh brain, koyak etc. Which you can use this words too and it will make you feels like you are native speaker!

For a total beginner, I prefer to familiarize you with common vocabulary and short sentences.
I believe if you have mastered the basics, it will be faster for you to speak Malay.
What I will emphasize are VOCABULARY, PRONUNCIATION, CHITCHAT, READING, LISTENING skills.
There will be a variety of ways to do revision such as playing games, reading articles, audio tests,s etc.
There is NO homework unless you request to have one.
