こんにちは！善土です。高知出身です。 趣味は映画と言語学習です。海外の文化が好きで、ウェールズ、フランス、韓国、ポーランドに住んでいました。 英語、フランス語、韓国語、ポーランド語を勉強していました。今は中国語を勉強中です。 My name is Yoshito, and I'm from Kochi, Japan. I’ve lived in Wales, France, Korea, and Poland. Some of my favourite films are Psycho, Tokyo Story, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, and Parasite — but too many to name! I also love learning languages, and right now I’m focusing on Mandarin. J'ai vécu en France pendant un an, et c'était l'une des meilleures expériences de ma vie. Cela m'a beaucoup aidé à améliorer mon français. I’m patient, encouraging, and understanding. During my Polish lessons on iTalki, I say “I don’t understand” and “Could you say that again, please?” hundreds of times, and I make lots of mistakes. During our lessons, I’ll repeat and paraphrase things until you understand. I want my lessons to be a place where you feel comfortable making mistakes. Please think of our lessons as conversations with a Japanese friend. I’d like to focus on having fun. I mainly speak Japanese during lessons so that you can immerse yourself in the language naturally. However, I will never force you to speak Japanese if you’re not comfortable. As a language learner myself, I enjoy experimenting with different learning methods, and I believe everyone should learn in a way that suits them best. That’s why I’d like to tailor my lessons to your needs, goals, and interests.

Yoshitoさん is a really kind and down-to-earth teacher! What I enjoy most is that I can take my time to find the words I'm looking for in my head without feeling stressed. Great for those who feel very nervous about speaking in their target language. Definitely recommend!

Great as always! If anyone wants to work on pitch accent/pronunciation then Yoshito-sensei is the teacher to see. He has far more knowledge about pronunciation than any other teacher I know.

The first lesson with Yoshito Sensei went great! We introduced ourselves to each other, discussed learning goals, hobbies, and then dived into movie discussions! The conversation went very smoothly, and Yoshito Sensei spoke on the level I could understand and provided feedback both along the way and at the end of the lesson. I'm excited to take more lessons with this teacher, and highly recommend Yoshito Sensei to everyone!

It was our second session and we did a cross talk session. I felt very comfortable talking in English while Yoshito spoke Japanese. He found ways to explain things only in Japanese when I did have questions. It was a very helpful approach to Comprehensible Input.
