Hi everybody! I’m Alessandra and I'm currently living in Portugal, trying to learn Portuguese. I 'm Italian, from a small village close to Venice. I've lived for almost 9 years in Barcelona and, previously, I’ve lived in Dublin and Bordeaux and in my beloved Venice, where I’ve got a Master degree in History of Art.
I love traveling, trekking, reading, cooking, spending time with friends and meeting new people, learning foreign languages. I’ve travelled around South East Asia for few months, I’ve visited some places in Central America and Middle East. When I have some free time, the thing I love the most is getting my backpack and leave for a new destination.教学经验
I've been teaching Italian, English and French for 9 years; I teach kids, teenagers and adults, also to business professionals. I’ve obtained the certifications DITALS (Teaching Italian as a Foreign Language) and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
My interest for foreign languages was born long time ago and this passion has grown deeper and deeper over the years, becoming a real job.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
Normally I adopt a communicative approach, based on providing students with the right tools to be able to interact in different contexts. My classes also aim to explore grammar, lexical and linguistic aspects and I also give some cultural insights.
I agree in advance with my students the contents and the objectives that will be develop during our lessons and I personally look for material which can be useful and at the same time interesting for them. I always try to motivate my students to do their best and I invite them to compare the language and culture taught to their original background.
I prepare students for Official English and Italian Exams (KET, PET, FCE; CILS, PLIDA, CELI).我的教学资料

I have studied Italian in group settings for 3 years but felt that I needed to devote more time to my listening and speaking. Although I've only had 3 lessons with Alessandra, I can already see that I'm improving in both those areas. As we converse, she corrects my errors in the Chat so I can see my mistakes without stopping the flow of conversation. Her English is excellent and she understands English idioms very well which she then translates for me into Italian. Additionally, she is a very pleasant and patient teacher.

Another excellent session with focus on communication. She takes the time to make sure that I understand, as well as helping me speak Italian. This includes providing help on pronunciation and understanding idioms.
