I have been living and working in an English-speaking country, South Africa, since 2011. I'm a native Polish speaker, but I'm also fluent in French and Italian and have a professional working proficiency in Spanish. I work as a multilingual researcher, and I do some teaching and writing on the side. Please note: I charge 100% for last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours in advance). Thank you for your understanding. I've been teaching Polish, French, English, and occasionally Italian, mostly 1-on-1, for many years. My experience in teaching French and English exceeds 15 years. I have a Master's Degree in English Studies, a TEFL certificate and a DALF C2 certificate in French. I know how to teach, but as a multilingual person I also know how to learn. I've tested countless tools and techniques on myself. I aced B2 exams in French and Italian after fewer than 3 years of learning so I know a lot about effective language learning. I'll make sure that you speak as much as possible during our sessions. I use different teaching materials to help you progress faster. Magda is a truly incredible teacher in every way possible, seriously! I've been learning with her for about a year and in that time, I managed to climb from a beginner to an advanced level, gained confidence that I didn't have before, and improved my accent. The range of materials that Magda chose for each week was always engaging and fun while remaining relevant to current affairs and my personal interests. The few times I needed help in preparation for my university French classes, she was more than willing to help, motivating me to push myself further and achieve more. I sincerely cannot recommend her enough and to all the people who choose to buy a lesson with her in May, go for it! You're not going to be disappointed.
