Este ano 2023, eu consegui o nível avançado na prova de CELPE Brás graças aos profissionalismo, entusiasmo, energia positiva e trabalho de Rob. Eu estou muito grata, muito obrigada Rob ♥ Eu comecei estuar português menos de três anos atrás e depois de uma preparação de um ano eu consegui este resultado incrível. Rob sabe o que e como fazer uma preparação para ter sucesso e manter o aluno motivado. Se você decidi conseguir uma meta especifica com o seu português, qualquer uma, você vai consegue-lo com Rob! Um grande abraço para o meu professor favorito e até a próxima aula.

If you want to learn Brazilian Portuguese - Robledo is your guy! Robledo is the best Portuguese teacher anyone could have. I've taken over 100 classes with him since last summer - 3 days a week - and am happy with my progression towards fluency. Classes are always well prepared, be it reading and written assignments, games, watching videos or listening to audio..even singing and discussing famous Brazilian songs that have vocabulary and verb tenses we are learning. ...and if current events or personal life pop into the conversation, he always has an article, YouTube video, or song to share...just remember you get what you put into it! Tamo junto meu amigo -- muito obrigado por nossas aulas juntas; eu continuarei aprendendo portugues com voce! Valeu!

Robledo is an exceptionally talented teacher, with an utterly charming personality. He puts you at your ease, is attentive and enthusiastic from start to finish, and structures the time so as to maximise your learning. Prior to our lesson, I'd asked whether he could cast his eyes over a text by Chico Buarque for us to discuss and translate together in class. He had evidently devoted his energies wholeheartedly to this task, elaborating insightful questions to give me food for thought, as well as imparting a highly sensitive linguistic and artistic commentary on the text - all of which was of the utmost helpfulness to me! In the closing 10 minutes, he also provided me with an immaculately-formatted and colourful Word document containing some useful phrases and grammatical explanations which had arisen. This is proving an invaluable record of everything that we covered together today. To sum up, I'd unreservedly recommend Robledo to Portuguese learners of any level. :-) He is brilliant!

Ilha da Madeira 😊

Na aula de hoje com o Rob, conversamos sobre a minha viagem ao Rio no último fim de semana. Tive apenas dois dias para explorar a cidade, mas consegui vivenciar bastante da cultura, história e das pessoas locais. O Rio é realmente uma cidade vibrante, sensual, e cheia de vida. Além de me recomendar alguns lugares para visitar na próxima vez, o Rob também me explicou, de uma forma muito interessante, sobre os fenômenos culturais da cidade. Eu sempre curto muito as aulas de português com o Rob e fico super "animado"kkkkkkk só de pensar no Rio!
