I'm a native French speaker who is recently living in Porto with my husband and daughter where I teach French. I lived in Peru for 12 years, I loved it but we decided to come back to Europe. I have a degree in teaching French and also spanish. I'm passionate about sports (Aerial Silks, Cycling, Rock climbing), traveling, and photography. I like cooking! I speak Spanish and French. I have been working with Jessica for one year, and in that time I have progressed from basically 0 french to being able to have conversations, read articles, and listen to French podcasts. She is so engaging and fun to talk to, and she also has a wealth of resources (textbooks, activities, etc) to facilitate learning. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn French!

I really enjoy my classes with Jessica. We always spend some time chatting about culture, past events, upcoming plans and daily life activities. This gives me the opportunity to practice what I’ve learned while engaging in real life conversation.
This is followed by reviewing homework and learning new vocabulary, grammar concepts, oral expression, listening and comprehension exercises. I find this format well structured for learning French.
Jessica is an experienced language professor and is talented in understanding the student’s level and creating a course to meet their individual needs.
