*Please refrain from conversations that lead to sexual topics. I’m not interested in such conversations on italki. My greatest interest here is watching the growth of my student in Japanese.

I used to hang out with super famous musicians since my friend was musician so we can talk about Japanese music.*I can't answer the musician name for their privacy, (It's not that I was fan of J-POP but I can talk about what I saw; celebrity's life, fashion, how to make ideas, their strategy etc)
I also translate subtitles for movies.教学经验
For beginners I use teaching materials and focus on the Genki textbook.
For JLPT I use a JLPT textbook. I published a book about how to get high scores on exams using only short term study and it's best seller on Amazon so I certainly know plenty of tips. Let's study efficiently together!
I know many Japanese learners have headaches for particles like the difference between 'が’ and 'は', 'に’and 'で’, 自動詞（はいる）and 他動詞（いれる）. As a professional teacher, I am willing to explain and practice with you.

First ever Italki lesson and Kei was great. I 'arrived' thinking that reading Katakana would be impossible but we started to make progress even in just my first hour. She only told me at the end of the lesson that I was her first English student but I would never have guessed, I really enjoyed it and felt like I moved forward too. There was a technical issue and Kei added time at the end of the lesson which was a good touch. Really happy.

Fantastic! I worried when I started Italki that I was a total beginner and so none of the teachers would be able to help me at this stage but decided to give it a go and it's worked out great so far.
I work at home between lessons of course and Kei is a fun and effective teacher. It really helps to check in with her each week and correct where I might have misunderstood or been pronouncing badly (which I still do!) plus to try out whatever I've learned. I couldn't have believed that by the fourth lesson I'd know Katakana, Hiragana and be saying things like 'What time is it?' in Japanese but yet here I am.
It also helps to give me a push to work between lessons and is always a great feeling when the lesson comes around and I see my progress.

Kei sensei is the most down to earth but effective teachers I’ve ever had. She provides immediate feedback and takes the best notes for you in every class. She a real one 🙏🏽
