Hello! I'm Matheus, a professor with a degree in Portuguese and English Language and Literature. I have a great passion for learning and teaching languages. For the past 10 years, I have been teaching Portuguese and English in Brazil. I have studied around 50 languages, including dead languages, over the past few years. During my classes, I try to create a relaxing and motivating atmosphere for my students. I worked as a teacher in the public school system for a few years. But I decided to open an English school in my home using the one-on-one teaching strategies. Eu trabalhei como professor na rede de ensino pública por poucos anos. Always adapting my teaching methodology to the needs of each student. So that they feel more comfortable expressing themselves.

Always enjoy using my conversational skills with Matheus. Because of the varying subjects and impromptu conversation, like in any normal situation, I get to fully exercise this part of language learning, which is essential. Luckily, Matheus is there to help me figure out the words and to correct me if needed.

I always look forward towards my tutoring sessions with Matheus. I really appreciate how he is there to correct me, anticipate and help me when I struggle with my thoughts and/or some words. That's important as communicating, I need to know when I am saying things incorrectly, which is why I hesitate, but Matheus is always there to guide me!
