Gui is a really gifted teacher and I recommend him hands down to anyone. I always leave the lesson feeling like I've improved my portuguese and that I learned something new. Gui is encouraging and personable, and focuses on the needs of the student. He tailors the lessons to what you'd like to improve, and is skilled at identifying your weaknesses, all while sharing relevant vocabulary and cultural things. We work on conversation, grammar, reading, and writing in every lesson, with a focus on specific tenses, expressions, or verb uses and their real life applications. I'm looking forward to many more lessons ☺️

Fantastic class! I was engaged with the content the minute it started & learned some very interesting facts. Guilherme is a great communicator and keeps things moving. Guilherme provided the best class I have ever had. He is incredibly prepared, thoughtful, and knows how to infuse all ways of learning into his teaching. He answered all of my questions and was always willing to adjust and change subjects as needed. He uplifted my confidence and was always sharing useful tips and advice for my journey into Portuguese. I've been studying Brazilian Portuguese with Guilherme for several months now, and he has really given me confidence to speak and to have whole conversations in a new language! He also has his own materials which he uses in class which are really helpful. I would highly recommend Guilherme if you want a fun and dynamic Portuguese experience.

His teaching style is highly effective: he used visuals to make concepts clear, provided constant encouragement, and shared a wealth of knowledge in a way that felt engaging and easy to follow.
