Jefferson is remarkable teacher. He is personable, calm & quite patient. As a teacher, he is organized & uses technology to share information & provide support & feedback. He is a skilled listener & adapts the lesson content so each lesson ends with questions clarified & a study plan in place for our next meeting. I've worked with other tutors on other platforms & Jefferson is the best. A great choice for anyone serious about speaking "português brasileiro".

Jefferson is truly and incredible teacher! I recently completed my 100th lesson with him and feel so grateful for his expertise and patience. I meet with him 3 times a week and always find myself smiling after the lessons because he finds a way to make learning a new language fun! Em 10 semanas, o progresso tem sido incrível. Já consigo estruturar melhor minhas redações assistindo a vídeos e ouvindo os áudios do Celpe-bras. Terminei os dois livros de gramática ativa que me foram indicados e agora estamos focados em melhorar a acentuação de palavras oxítonas, paraoxítonas e proparoxítonas; esse será o foco das próximas cinco aulas. Além disso, aos domingos, tenho uma aula de conversação sobre tópicos complexos com outro professor, o que complementa perfeitamente o que Jefferson me ensina.

I really like the structure of our classes. I wanted to work on my speaking and Jefferson always starts the class with discussions and topics that are not only interesting but also challenge me to extend my vocabulary. New words are always noted and I receive the notes to review and study. After discussing different topics, we generally review homework and he introduces new language constructs and concepts to practice, keeping me moving forward.

I really enjoy my lessons with Jefferson! He asks great questions, which make discussions interesting and push me to learn new vocabulary. In addition, he always makes time to practice new material - like the subjunctive.
