My name is Marko and I am an English teacher from Serbia. I am fascinated by languages and the way they offer us an insight into other cultures and I am excited to help you understand Serbian and other cultures by learning Serbian or English. I am a linguist by trade, but science in general fascinates me - history and sociology in particular - and I have a special place in my heart for literature and music. I love traveling as much as possible, but I also enjoy just having some quiet time with my friends and family. And finally, I LOVE talking, maybe a bit too much, but I am sure that will come in handy in our classes because communication is the gateway to language learning.教学经验
I have a Master degree in the English language and literature, with French being my second language, and I have amassed over six years of teaching experience. I have mostly been teaching online and working with people from different cultures, but I also have significant experience in teaching in actual brick-and-mortar schools. It is my belief that a language teacher does not only teach grammar and vocabulary, but also serves as a guide through culture and values of the people who speak that language. My understanding of English-speaking cultures helps me significantly while teaching English, and I cannot wait to present my own Serbian culture to students who want to learn our language.我提供的课程和我的教学风格
The purpose of my classes is giving my students an opportunity to practice languages in a relaxed, safe environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunity. Additionally, in case of Serbian, being exposed to it on my part allows students to get a good example of what the language sounds like in "real life" and learn all the interesting peculiarities Serbian has to offer. My background in linguistics and knowledge of other languages (English, Ukrainian, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian) allows me to give students detailed explanations of different aspects of my language and language in general, so I believe that I can offer a well-rounded ticket into the Serbian speaking world.我的教学资料

Just had my first lesson and I'm very pleased - the lesson was customized to my needs, the pacing was comfortable and he is a very polite, knowledgeable teacher. I immediately got to learn more about the language and cultural relevance of some words, pronunciations, which is a huge extra and made the lesson even more interesting. I left the lesson feeling accomplished, so I'm definitely booking more lessons!

Я специально искала преподавателя, который бы помимо сербского говорил на русском, поскольку тогда преподаватель сможет лучше объяснить отличия и сходства между нашими языками, и я безумно рада, что нашла Марко! Он не только прекрасно говорит на русском, но и очень хорошо и с юмором объясняет грамматику, так что уроки получаются очень веселыми и динамичными. Hvala mnogo! ☺️
