- TEFL-certified English Teacher - from Sydney, Australia - Over 7 years of experience teaching professional adults, teenagers and children - Experience in conducting preparation classes for the official Cambridge Exam (PET & FCE) - I used to live in Madrid, Spain for 5 years where I learnt Spanish - Absolutely obsessed with travel and food from all around the world! - My favourite city is Florence & my favourite cuisine is Thai I consider myself as a very approachable teacher. I am patient and friendly so I will make you feel at ease and comfortable in my classes. I love teaching because I find it very rewarding as the feeling you get when your students show progress in unbeatable. I pride myself on being able to easily build excellent rapport with my students. This is key in the learning process as you are able to communicate more effectively with each other. My lessons are dynamic and engaging. I am a firm believer in learning through play and practice. Expect a lot of games and completing activities with real-life examples. I believe one of the most effective ways to absorb a new language is to find something of interest to the students and talk about it. This way it is relevant to them, hence they are more engaged. Focus on: - Fluency - Pronunciation - Conversation skills - Debates & discussions - Listening skills - Vocabulary
