Hi! I'm Ayaka. Nice to meet you.
I like to sing songs, playing sanshin (an Okinawan instrument) and playing with animals!
I majored in international relations in university and have experience studying abroad in America and Hong Kong. I worked for a Japanese company for a few years before I started my career as a Japanese language teacher.
I'm excited to talk with people all over the world with italki!

I think when you study a language, it is important to enjoy and not to give up on it.
I'll do my best to support you so that you can feel relaxed while enjoy learning, and achieve your goal.
I'll not only teach Japanese language but also help figure out how to study effectively and keep your motivation high.

I like to structure my lessons around my students goals, whether you want to focus more on conversation or more on grammar and reading.
I'll give you lots of chances practicing actual conversation using useful grammar and vocabulary!

Ayaka-san is one of the best teachers on Italki. She is always patient, warm, and informative. I always look forward to every lesson. She will help you get confident in your speaking, give you tips on how to improve your vocabulary, and she gives you homework that really helps you go over the previous lessons. Highly recommend her for first time students, as she is a welcoming teacher who helps you build up your confidence to speak.
