Lilja combines everything I like in a good teacher: she is very friendly (which feels completely natural and genuinely kind), humorous and patient, explains things very well, provides good exercises, and always supports me in finding my way through Norwegian sentences, no matter how long it takes me to find the correct words. At first, I thought I would book maybe one lesson per month, but I enjoy learning with her so much that I now take weekly lessons ;-) And I feel enriched, happy, and full of motivation after every lesson.

I have been taking Norwegian lessons with Lilja for a month now and can wholeheartedly recommend her! Lilja is very nice and corrects any mistakes I make instantly in a friendly manner. She is great at explaining grammar rules in an easy way and making sure that I get a lot of speaking practice. I have taken many Norwegian classes over the last few years, both in group settings at language schools but also private lessons, and am very glad that I found Lilja. I feel like I am making more progress than before since her lessons are actually adapted to my level of Norwegian. Every class is interesting and super fun, I always look forward to them!

Good first lesson, Lilja knows a lot about pronunciation and helped me a lot

Lilja is an exceptional teacher. She has a warm and kind personality and is always patient and encouraging. It’s clear that she genuinely loves what she does, and she’s very well equipped to guide you in learning a new language. I’ve been having lessons with her for many months now, and I’ve seen real progress in my Norwegian. She explains things in a simple and clear way, adapting to your pace and needs, and always takes the time to make sure you truly understand. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Norwegian or a new language in general.
