Bonjour! I’m Laura, a Londoner living in the French countryside with 6+ years of teaching English and learning French the hard way! Alongside my teaching businesses, I run an eco-friendly guest house and project manage the renovation of my 19th century French farmhouse (clearly I love a challenge and more than a little chaos!) When I'm not teaching, I love hiking, cooking, travelling, practicing yoga and reading. If you are searching for a friendly, supportive teacher who cares about your goals, you're in the right place. Honestly! As your teacher, I will support you, guide you and give you lots of time to talk and practice. I aim to create a safe and relaxed environment to learn in. After all, we learn best when we're relaxed and can take risks :) I have gained a lot of teaching experience the last few years, teaching students from around the world, but I am also continually learning and developing my teaching skills - once a teacher, always a student! My students say I’m helpful, warm, funny and calming when they are nervous or unsure.
