Hello! I am a graduate from Leiden University's Asia department where I studied advanced Japanese and sociology. I also hold two bachelor degrees: one in sociology and one in Modern Greek literature and linguistics. Language learning is a passion of mine. Next to Greek, Japanese, and English, I have studied German, Mandarin, ancient Greek, and Latin, and I currently live in France where I work on my French.
I now prepare for the entrance exams for the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that start in November. Since I have taught English and Dutch before in Japan, which I enjoyed, I think it would be perfect to share my love of languages on this platform!
Thank you, I hope to see you soon!

I would encourage you to first book a trial lesson so that I can estimate your current level and your ambitions. If we agree, we can then set up a lesson plan together. I have some experience with Dutch test preparation, but am mostly skilled in conversation and reading practice, and it is my ambition to assist you in elevating your Dutch to the next level.
I know that we are all busy, but I really encourage you to try to study a little bit every day! I do this myself as well with my Japanese and French. I therefore hope to provide you also with the tips and tricks necessary to create an effective study rhythm.
我提供的课程和我的教学风格
It is my philosophy that the step to fluency is interaction in the language from day 1! Do not be too afraid to make mistakes, and I won't interrupt you every sentence to correct your errors. Rather, I encourage you to speak, and we can go over pronunciation and grammar after each lesson segment.
To get confidence in speaking, input is very important. I will provide you with native materials (e.g., books, short stories for children, easy news, 'native' news) so that you get real Dutch input from day 1.
Yes, I will give you a little bit of homework, but mostly reading and watching, so it should be fun!
