Hi! I’m Rehana with 9 years online teaching experience. I am a Dutch native speaker from Suriname with a passion for idioms—those quirky phrases that make Dutch so colorful! Fluent in English too, I love helping students unlock the fun side of language through lively conversations. I have been teaching Dutch for more than nine years now, both in traditional classrooms and online. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them improve their speaking, writing, and comprehension skills. I hold a bachelor’s degree in education and have developed an easy and effective teaching style that makes learning enjoyable and accessible. My goal is to make you feel relaxed and be yourself during my classes. Therefore you are allowed to tell me the topic you want to talk about and i will adjust it to your level. Learning a new language is all about making mistakes, so the best thing you can do is to be ready to laugh about it and i promise we will have a fun time during my classes.
I will prepare the topic of your choice and select the vocabulary words that you can use in real life conversations. I will teach you the new vocabulary words by means of pictures and short sentences. I will aslo help you with your pronunciation. After that we wil train by means of exercises and dialogues.
