👨🏫 I am Suliman (preferred name: Simon), a seasoned English language instructor and assessment specialist with 14 years of experience in IELTS, OET, TOEIC, PTE, and other major English proficiency examinations. As a former IELTS examiner and certified accent coach, I bring both institutional expertise and practical teaching methodologies to my practice.
Originally from Glasgow and now based in London, my academic contributions include authoring "Principles of Teaching English in Middle East Classrooms: A Comprehensive Guide" and publishing research focused on linguistic challenges specific to Middle Eastern learners. Over the past 14 years, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse backgrounds and age groups, in both public schools, private tutoring, and online classes. Thanks for the previous active and enthusiastic interaction in class with Kerwin, very impressive and we like it very much. Kerwin is a very active and noisy boy, and is eager to express his fantastic or ridiculous ideas. As parents we want to keep and encourage his curiosity, but meanwhile, to let him be patient, sit down, follow the instruction properly and interact with teacher according to the courseware positively. Frankly speaking, we know that it looks a little bit difficult to have them all in an English class, but that is what we want from an English speaking class online indeed.
