Certified and experienced teacher of English and Norwegian | UK Qualified Teacher and TEFL certified Hello everyone! My name is Katrine and I'm from Norway, but I currently live in Turkey. I grew up bilingual and addended an international school. One of my big passions is travel and I love to explore different cultures and learn new languages. Whilst living in Turkey, I have been learning Turkish and I also know some French, so I understand the difficulties and challenges that come along with learning a new language. I am a qualified primary school teacher, but I also have experience of teaching both English and Norwegian to adults. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education from the UK and am currently studying part-time for a MA in Education, whilst also working as a preschool teacher in an international school. Previously, I have taught various ages in international schools in Europe and Africa. One of my main strengths as a teacher is that I am patient. I believe that learning should be fun and that, even as adults, we always benefit from learning new things and challenging ourselves. I believe we all learn best when our individual learning styles are catered for. Furthermore, I know we all learn languages for different purposes and that we therefore have different needs in terms of what we would like to cover in lessons.
