Hi! Thank you for stopping by.
I'm Youjeong Park from South Korea.
I'm currently working as Korean tutor, and teaching 20 students individually and consistently.
Levels of my students are various, from beginner to advanced.
For my teaching background, I majored in elementary education at Seoul National University of Education.
I know it is fun at the same time difficult to learn a new language, because I'm also learning one.
I'll teach you grammars&vocas step by step and give you integrated homework so that you can apply those in our speaking practice.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

★ Who is Youjeong쌤?
1. I am friendly, diligent, and funny person. I not only teach students but also be their friends. I speak English fluently because I lived in Canada shortly when I was young. I'm currently living in Morocco and speaks Moroccan Arabic too☺
2. I graduated from Seoul National University of Education and majored in Elementary Education. Since 2015 when I entered my university, I kept teaching English/Korean/Math etc. And since 1 year ago, I consistently have been teaching Korean to foreigners, and end up completing 50000 hours of korean lessons. I like to help out my students who have several different purposes because I'm proud of Korea!😍我提供的课程和我的教学风格
★ What materials do I use in the class?
I differentiate materials according to student’s purpose. Following materials are main materials for my long-term students.
1. Textbook📚
I use the textbooks to teach structured grammars and vocabs(the textbook can be anything, like 연세한국어/세종한국어/이화한국어 etc).
2. Flashcards🏷
I sometimes use my online flashcards of each topics using Memrise/Quizlet/Anki.
3. Videos🎥
I bring up some short video clips from Movie/Drama for real-life conversation comprehension.
4. Books📖
I use short essays or books for reading comprehension.
5. Pictures🖼
I use successive pictures that were used in NEAT Speaking Exam for student to describe the situation.我的教学资料

Homeroom class teacherI've taught Korean and English to 3rd, 5th, 6th grade students. And they all had different levels of 2 subjects. Accordingly, I know how to make people to upgrade their Korean level based on their current level.
2015 - 2019
Korean and English teacherThis was the time that I experienced diverse age groups including adults. I did private tutoring to many adults who want to learn Korean or English. Especially, I enjoyed teaching volunteer work to foreign students who were studying in universities in Seoul, because I was able to speak both languages and enjoyed meeting people from all around the world.

유정선생님 has definitely helped me elevate my Korean now that I reflect on how much I have learned this year. Each class is worth it even when it feels extremely challenging and overwhelming. Her professionalism shines through since she is very patient and knows how to steer students back into the lesson.
My journey learning Korean has been tough and it has been hard to self analyze how much I learn. However, when I look at my notes and try reading material that I could not understand a year ago, I see the improvement. If you are looking for a patient, understanding and knowledgable teacher that will give you the assignments and lesson plans to boost your understanding, she is the one to go to.

유정선생님 is a great teacher! I'm always looking forward to our lessons and she meets me exactly where I am in my abilities that day.
