Hi! My name is Raquel. I live in the United Kingdom, but grew up in The Netherlands. Having come from an office background has enabled the development for experience in communicating verbally and writing. Currently, I am a student of the Portuguese language and can relate to the challenges and rewards of learning a new language.教学经验
My passion to teach comes from wanting to help students reach their learning goals whether it is to raise one’s confidence or to use the language on a day-to-day basis. From our lessons you can expect them to be well prepared and tailored to your needs. The classes ensure you are given undivided attention and guidance. During the summer period of 2024 for a limited time only a refresher’s course on Dutch grammar will be provided to students at beginner, intermediate and advanced level. What is included in this course is the practice of conversation to enable you to put the grammar into practice. The outcome of this will be that you will be more equipped and confident to initiate and participate in conversations. Reach out for more information and inform your preferred availabilities. I’m finding the grammar reviews with Raquel very useful. Besides the obvious opportunity to identify mistakes and improve my Dutch grammar, they give me opportunities to talk naturally without using prepared notes as a “crutch” to lean on and force me to think on my feet. I’m still making mistakes but with further practice, I will keep improving.

I continued with the article from last week and after this was completed, Raquel presented a new article for me to read and discuss with her. This had a similar theme to the previous one so helped to build up further vocabulary.
