Sara is an exceptional teacher! She uses different types of learning modalities and is always open to making adjustments to meet my learning style and goals. She is a pleasure to work with and I have learned so much, not only about the Italian language but also about the Italian culture, which is very important in bringing everything together and acquiring a comprehensive understanding of Italy and the Italians. I am also so appreciative of Sara’s encouragement when I get stuck trying to comprehend the many exceptions to the rules of the Italian grammar. The moment I think I got it here comes an exception that makes me feel I will never learn Italian! Sara is always there with a smile and words of encouragement. I am so fortunate to have Sara as my Italian teacher! 

I look forward to my lesson with Sara, it is the highlight of my day! I am learning Italian with her, and it has been a joy. I wish high school language classes were this involved. Every lesson she starts out by opening the floor to discuss anything you want, in the language you are learning. It gives me the opportunity to try and say new words and new sentences. About my weekend, what I have going on later in the week, or just general small talk. Then she gives the chance to ask questions from last weeks lesson and homework. Then she gets into the lesson and grammar. It is always very conversational but she does challenge me. I really like working out of her recommended text book, i honestly look forward to the homework she assigns. Sara speaks many languages, she clearly is a gifted linguist. She teaches as well as she speaks! I wish I would have skipped over a year of Duolingo and joined her lessons sooner!

Trial lesson was great. Instilled trust that she is a very capable teacher. Easy to get along with. I will be booking more lessons with Sara.

I came into italki never having used this platform and with no prior language learning experience. So to say I was a little nervous about it was an understatement. Out of luck I happened to pick Sara for my first teacher and have never looked back. Sara is fun, patient and in general an all around great teacher. She has made me feel completely comfortable and excited to learn Italian. Sara is always on time, energetic, and prepared for our lessons. Our lessons are never boring & I look forward to them every week. As of writing this I have completed 30 lessons with Sara and would recommend her to anyone looking to learn a language. My Italian has gone from not knowing anything to being able to have basic conversation, listen to & understand Italian music, read Italian stories, and I was even able to navigate Italy on a recent trip :). Taking Italian lessons with Sara is an absolute joy! Sara brings so much creativity and fun to every single class, making learning a new language very exciting. I love how flexible she is with tailoring our lessons to what I need. She is endlessly encouraging, which gives me the confidence to actually speak in every single lesson. Plus, Sara is so well-versed in a huge variety of interesting topics, so our conversations are always engaging, informative and interesting. I have learned so much and look forward to every class.
