Health Sciences student fluent in 7 of the 12 South African languages, including IsiZulu, SASL, and Xhosa. I specialize in lively online lessons—whether you’re starting English, IsiZulu, or Sign Language, I’ll make learning feel like a chat with a friend! I believe that one of the most efficient ways to learn a language is through practice. I will therefore ensure that I provide learners with sufficient time to practice their skills. Another firm belief of mine is that the lesson should be conversational and enjoyable. I am also cognizant of the fact that some learners are visual learners and others are auditory, so I will use the necessary resources to complement their learning style.

Sam is a friendly, engaging, and patient teacher. We talked through basic isiZulu words for beginners, phonetics, and practiced click sounds, and Sam explained the concepts behind words to help me remember them. I really enjoyed our lesson! Would definitely recommend.
