Hi there! My name is Shyam. I currently live in India, but I’m originally from Nepal. I grew up in both countries. I can speak Hindi, Nepali, and English. I’ve been learning and teaching languages for about 7 years. I have completed a TEFL teaching certification, and I’m now learning Chinese and Thai. I am also pursuing a degree in Computer Science. I didn’t start teaching as a tutor, but as a language enthusiast who loves learning languages and sharing cultures with others. I am mostly self-taught, so I understand the challenges learners face and when tutors can be most helpful. Terrific class; We make good progress every time and Shyam always challenges me to express myself in Hindi and because of his approach I can feel my conversation ability improving step by step and it is a wonderfully satisfying experience to be improving a little bit every day in this beautiful language. It is almost like miracle to be able to be able to connect on a regular basis with this fabulous teacher who lives so far away. We watched videos and learned some words from it. And Teacher Shyam used well pictures and body languages to explian to me again. We had a great time today
