I always look forward to our lessons and highly recommend her to anyone wanting a fun and effective learning experience.

I've had at least six teachers throughout my 20 years of casually learning Japanese. I never stuck with it, but this teacher is different. Yuri keeps me engaged and yearning to learn more. Her gentle voice and encouraging words keep me coming back and after 300 lessons, I have no intentions of stopping soon. ありがとうゆり先生、本当にありがとう！

I love my lessons with Yuri Sensei! She always prepares a great lesson and I learn so much. She's patient and encouraging when I forget vocabulary/grammar, and we go at a speed that is challenging but not overwhelming. She also speaks Korean, which has been helpful for me, as I sometimes mix up Korean/Japanese vocabulary and she is able to quickly identify that. I plan to continue learning with her in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn/improve their Japanese.

유리 선생님(Yuri Sensei)은 제가 차분하게 말할 수 있도록 기다려 주시고, 모르는 표현은 바로바로 공유 화면에 적어서 보여주세요. 수업이 끝나면 오늘 배운 내용도 바로 보내주십니다. 매 수업 자유 대화나 특정 주제로 이야기를 나누는데, 언어를 배우는 것 이상으로 선생님과 대화하는 시간 자체가 즐거워서 정말 좋아요. 한국어와 영어 모두 능통하신데, 특히 한국어가 모국어이신 분들이 들으시면 이해 못 하는 부분을 한국어로 바로 설명해 주셔서 훨씬 편하게 배우실 수 있을 거예요. Yuri Sensei is very patient and gives me space to speak at my own pace. Whenever there’s an expression I don’t know, she immediately writes it down on the shared screen for me to see. As soon as the lesson ends, she sends over notes on what we covered that day. Each class involves free conversation or discussing a specific topic, but more than just learning a language, I truly enjoy the conversation itself. She is fluent in both Korean and English—especially for native Korean speakers, she can explain complex nuances in Korean right away, making it so much easier to understand.
