I like to keep a mixture of fun and professional, in other words that I like to keep things fun and in a positive light where a joke is definitely possible. However, when it comes down to it I am serious in my desire to teach other people some of my languages and cultures.

Learning a language is hard work, but there's no rule that says you can't also enjoy it. :) I have worked as a teacher in high school for Dutch and in adult education for Dutch and German. But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime. I´ve always loved meeting people and talking to people so when I stopped travelling and settled down here in Mexico, working as teacher was a logical step. I really enjoy seeing my students develop and improve. I´ve taught people between the ages of 14 and 70. My students tell me they like my classes because I am patient, have a sense of humor and because I make them feel comfortable in speaking the language that we are learning.
