I had a great first Setswana lesson with Phemo, and I am excited to continue studying with her. There was a clear structure in her lesson, and she gave me "just enough" new information without overwhelm - just enough that I know I need to study before our next class, but not so much that it feels daunting. I feel like I am going to make a lot of progress under her guidance!

Thato is excellent and professional! I highly recommend you choose her as your tutor. She explains the language clearly and concisely. Provides useful feedback and makes sure your pronunciation is correct and you use the words in the proper context. She is knowledgeable. Last but not least she gives you useful information that can be applied to actual conversations.

Lucia is such a joy and that makes learning Setswana with her even more joyful! It is a pleasure getting to know her - her culture - her language - and learning with her because she is expressive, has clear pronunciation with enthusiasm, is very encouraging, and uses kinesthetic motions when learning vocab which is what I love - it is so helpful for my memory :) Making some sentences and making brief plays with our vocab and sentences is so perfect for my brain and reasons for learning Setswana. I am so glad I started learning with her. I look forward to more lessons!

I had been studying Setswana with Eunice to prepare for my safari trip to Botswana. Eunice is a very good teacher. She is patient and I enjoyed my lessons very much with her. I especially enjoyed our conversations as it allowed me to learn the language in context.
