We call them Chemical Equations. To find the name for each symbol (For example Mg), go to the Periodic Table of Elements. The "→" is called an arrow, however, when saying the equation out loud we say "X reacts with Y to make V and W". The arrow becomes the "to make". I study Chemistry at A Level in the UK.

Listening Comprehension. Does anyone have any tips to help with listening comprehension? I am already watching Anime and some J-Pop + J-Rock. I also watch videos spoken in Japanese. Thanks in advance.

"Backstabber" refers to somebody who is a traitor or hypocrite or someone who says bad things about someone, without them knowing. What the word means is a person who attacks ("stabs") you when your back is turned (When you are not aware of them doing it). So, in the context of the example, you could succeed in office politics by saying bad things about people, behind their back, to make others think they are not a nice person. This means you turn people against each other. The example is saying it can help you succeed without this. I hope this helps.

    March

    It is already March.
March is spring, according to the Japanese calender.
But the cold wind is blowing still.
On the way home, I found the cat and took a picture.
The moment I released the a shutter, the cat looked back away.
    So, I was disappointed.

Aww! That is a cute cat.
Maybe you will see it again soon.

    This was well written.

    My opinion about Google Translator

Sometimes I translate at the use Google to translate and I know that it is not always is right, but when the translation make some sense I consider it like a good thing (at least nothing so that is wrong). I don't want tona depend of on the translator,. Slowly I will undone to don't remove the to need to use it always when I will write a long text. Nope, I am not using the translator to write this now, I just think that people shouldn't to DEPEND of on this tool to write and speak everything, it must be used with moderation.

    I agree with your statement.
    Well written.
