How to live a memorable life?(2) This is a strange journey, as the speaker said. He met a lot of interesting people, made friends with some people, of course they are “memory freaks”, and even he won a memory championship himself. But for me, the most touched thing is that the spirit of exploration and endeavor the speaker shows in this series of “memory “. When high technologies like smartphones, computers make it much easier to memory things, who will be passionate about a trained, disciplined, cultivated memory? And this memory is less efficient than technologies. This is an indifferent issue, in Chinese saying it’s called cool bench. But, there are still some indifferent issue deserving someone to explore, and if you are passionate and strive on it, you can be a savant. As to the memory trick, it also teaches us the meaning of persistence. The trick isn’t extraordinary at all. Give the things special meaning and they can be a special memory to you. And as the time goes on, you could form a special pattern of memory. It’s just a matter of practice. And apparently, there’s few people can do it. And if you do it, you can also be your own champion, if not in a contest. That’s the meaning of memorizing and memorable life. Remember and remember to do what deserves remembering and doing, whether others remember or not.

How to live a memorable life?(1) This video really tells us a lot interesting things. How those “memory savant” remember incredibly enormous humdrum things? How did the speaker find the memory trick? When and where this trick--a fundament human capacity which we essentially outsource to a series of technologies we’ve invented—derives from? All these things the speaker told are amazing and impressed. But what impressed me most is the words the speaker said: “They work because they make you work…You have to be a person who remembers to remember.” Actually, this story is not complicated. The speaker went to cover the United States Memory Championship a few years ago as a science journalist. And then, he was interested in this unbelievable “technique” that makes people who have just an average memory can memorize entire books. He began to find the key to this secret. He consulted articles about memory. He investigated the result of an experiment conducted on a bunch of memory champions aimed at found out physiological reasons about memory secret. And, he even trained his own memory a whole year. Finally, he found out this technique dated back from 2500 year ago which is invented by a Greek poet. It is called memory palace, which means using spatial memory to remember things. That is to say when you try to remember something, you can create an image in your mind, and the things you have to memorize are inside. That is why those memory champions’ part of brain that’s involved in spatial memory and navigation were lighting up when they remember difficult things under the FMRI machine’s scanning.

Personality and Colors Everyone has his favorite color. But few people know that colors can reflect one’s personality.Do you know which personality does your favorite color stand? Now let me introduce one theory about colors and personality. As we all know red stands enthusiasm. The red personality called active type. These people who like red best may be very brave, decisive and persevering. So the red people are usually ready to accept challenge and seek adventure and excitement. But sometimes these people can’t deal with others well because of their caprices. Yellow is a bright color. The yellow personality called power type which stands outgoing and kind personality. This kind of people are willing to expressing themselves. They are very kind to others and admire romantic. On the other hand, the yellow people’s excessive enthusiasm and lack of calmness can be trouble to themselves. The blue personality called perfect type.Blue represents steadiness, modesty and self-discipline.The people whose favorite color is blue means he is reliable and considerate. And the shortcomings of blue people are being stiff and overly seeking perfection.By the way,the “blue” people is very sensitive, they are easily hunt by others’ unintentional offence. Green personality which is called peaceful type reminds people of peace and nature. The people’s personality type is green means that he usually has a firm sensible mind. They are generally slow to anger and quick to forgive. So they are very easy-going. And they are also indecisive and introverted. So if you want to make friends with this kind of people, you should make great efforts. Learning ourselves’ personality is necessary for us to understand our behaviors which is helpful to improve ourselves.Through the explanation of colors,do you know much better of yourselves?

    写到写的“幸福".

    我五岁的时候,我妈妈常对我说幸福是人生的关键。我上学的时候,他们问我长大后想成为什么后的梦想是什么?我写“幸福”他们说我不了解作业,而我跟他们说他们不了解人生.
