Today was our final rehearsal before the concert. Preparing everything for the big day was really tough, but it was worth it. We worked hard and paid attention to every detail. I hope the concert goes well and becomes a great performance that we can all be proud of. I’m a bit nervous but also excited!

It was overcast today. In math class, we worked on geometry, specifically calculating the area of different shapes. I memorized those formulas, easy. But it took me a while to grasp how to find the height of a triangle when it's not a straight line directly perpendicular from the top to the base. Sometimes the triangle is super slanted, and figuring out the height means you have to extend the base line to meet the perpendicular dropped from the vertex. Still, I prefer geometry over arithmetic. Working with a ruler and compass is way more fun than doing endless calculations on scratch paper.

I had a part-time job today. It was raining heavily 30 minutes before I left the house, so I didn’t really want to go. But luckily, the rain stopped by the time I left the house. There were only a few employees working, so it was hard when a lot of customers came. We all worked together and managed to avoid mistakes, but I was really exhausted.
