I remember seeing an exhibition of photographs a few years ago about the way war has affected my city, Bath. It was very powerful and made me more aware of the reality of war - the images of destruction were of places I know well. One of the photographs moved me to tears.

A painting that cheers me up is Sunflowers by Vincent Van Gogh. The flower is a symbol of
happiness, and it was painted at a time when Van Gogh was feeling optimistic about the future. He painted the flowers many times, but one of the original paintings is in the National Gallery in London where I often go and look at it.

слагати се СА КИМ/ЧИМ?  = быть согласен С КЕМ/ЧЕМ?  (Ја се слажем/не слажем СА тобом. Не бих се сложио са Вама.) 
осетити на својој кожи = почувствовать на своей шкуре
радовати се КОМЕ/ЧЕМУ? = радоваться (Радујем се твом доласку. Радујем се сусрету са тобом.)
нови почетак = новое начало
почети = начать 
до сада = на данный момент, до сих пор,  пока

спаковати = собрать

неопходно = необходимое 
довольно = достаточно (То није довољно за мене. = Это недостаточно для меня. НО ! Когда в магазине нам что то нарезают или взвешивают, не скажем "довољно",  а "доста/то је доста". )
схватити = понять 
морати = быть должен,необходимо, надо, пришлось делать 
(Морам да идем. = Мне надо идти/Мне пора.
Морам да погледам тај филм. = Я должна посмотретьэтот фильм.
Деца морају да слушају родитеље. = Дети должны слушаться родителей.
Морала сам да бацим покварено млеко. = Мне пришлось выкинуть просроченное молоко.)

скупити = накопить (Нисам скупила довољно пара. = Я не накопила достаточно денег.)

Welkom bij de podcast "Beter Gezegd". Ben je Nederlands aan het studeren en wil je graag oefenen met luisteren? Dan is deze podcast absoluut perfect voor jou!

In deze podcast zal ik me elke week focussen op een verschillend onderwerp. In eerste instantie zal ik proberen om steeds duidelijk en rustig te praten zodat je me altijd kan begrijpen. In elke aflevering staat een ander onderwerp centraal. Interessante onderwerpen die aan bod zullen komen zijn bijvoorbeeld cultuur, een beetje geschiedenis, maar ook veel nuttige tips en weetjes over de Nederlandse taal.

Studenten Nederlands die niet alleen graag hun luistervaardigheden willen oefenen, maar tegelijkertijd ook nieuwe woordenschat of grammaticaregels willen leren, zijn daarom allemaal van harte welkom. Misschien begrijp je niet meteen alles wanneer je voor de eerste keer naar een aflevering luistert, maar dat is normaal! Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat wanneer je regelmatig naar de podcast luistert je zal merken dat je Nederlands langzaamaan ook steeds beter zal worden.

Beter gezegd, ik hoop dat je tijdens je studies Nederlands af en toe eens luistert naar de podcast. Onderaan in de omschrijving van elke aflevering kan je bovendien de transcriptie van de aflevering terugvinden en reacties achterlaten.
