Operatore CUP: Buongiorno! Certo, posso aiutarla con la prenotazione. Potrebbe darmi il suo nome completo e la data di nascita, per favore?

Paziente: Certamente, il mio nome è Laura Rossi e sono nata il 22 Ottobre 1955.

Operatore CUP: Grazie, Laura. Ora verificherò la disponibilità. Per favore, aspetti un momento.

[Pausa mentre l'operatore controlla la disponibilità]

Operatore CUP: Ho una disponibilità per il 10 settembre. 
Paziente: ma è tra un mese!  È piuttosto urgente. Non posso aspettare così a lungo. 

Operatore CUP: , capisco la sua urgenza. Mi dispiace, ma nell'ospedale di Ancona non ci sono disponibilità immediate. Però posso controllare  in ospedali limitrofi. Mi dia un attimo per verificare le disponibilità, per favore.

Operatore CUP: Ho controllato e ho alcune opzioni per lei. C'è un posto disponibile domani mattina alle 8:30 presso l'ospedale di Pesaro o un altro posto disponibile il giorno dopo alle 10:00 presso l'ospedale di Senigallia. Posso prenotare uno di questi appuntamenti per lei?

Paziente: Sì, per favore, va bene per domani mattina alle 8:30 a Pesaro.

Buongiorno.
Sono Simona Gentili e questo è il mio podcast “semi-professionale” per chiunque abbia voglia di ascoltare cinque minuti di interviste e parole al vento…. O libere come il vento.
Quello che state ascoltando è il mio ultimo podcast per il 2024 (duemilaventiquattro).
Ho iniziato per gioco. 
Ho continuato per divertimento e per dare sfogo alla mia creatività.
Concludo l’anno con piacere.
Il piacere di avervi incontrato, per lo più virtualmente, ma qualche volta anche di persona. Anche solo una volta.
E il piacere di fare quello che mi piace e di farlo come mi piace.
Non vi chiederò e non vi dirò qual è il bilancio dell’anno che è passato.
Ma vi dirò che la parola del 2024, secondo me, è “DISQUISIRE”.

Young people in South Korea are turning their backs on marriage, according to a government report.

A survey by Statistics Korea of Koreans aged between 19 and 34 found that just 36% have a positive opinion of marriage.

That's down from 56% in 2012.

The report found that many young Koreans feel they do not have enough money for marriage at a time when the cost of living is high.

Others said they don't think that marriage is necessary.

The report also found that only 28% of the women surveyed have a positive opinion of marriage.

This may be because women are choosing to put their jobs first — before marrying and starting a family.

Earlier in the year, Statistics Korea said that the number of marriages in the country in 2022 was the lowest ever recorded.

There were 192,000 marriages in 2022. The number of marriages recorded has now decreased in each of the last 11 years.

The government is worried, and has spent years trying to encourage young people to marry and have children, since the country's birth rate is also falling.

But more Koreans are happy to stay single. There is even a word for people who choose not to marry: bihon.

And instead of encouraging Koreans to marry, some people are asking the government to do more for single people who have chosen to live on their own.

関西の人は関東の人より、会話の中でオノマトペをよく使うと言われています。関西人の私がふだんどんなオノマトペを使っているかを話します。
It is said that people in Kansai use onomatope in their conversation more often than people in Kanto. I tell you what onomatopoeic words I usually use as a Kansai person.

友人とドライブをしていたときのことです。
途中で、とても見晴らしのいいところに来ました。そこで、私は「うわ～、すうっと向こうまで、めちゃくちゃよう見えるわ～」と友だちに言いました。
すると、友だちは笑いながら、「関西人はほんまに、オノマトペが多いなあ」と言いました。「この道を　まっすぐシュっと行ったらいい」とか「そこの角をきゅっと曲がって」とか言うやんと言うのです。
たしかに・・・。私もよくオノマトペを使っています。さっきの「すうっと向こうまで、めちゃくちゃよう見えるわ～」は、「何も遮るものがない、じゃまするものがないので、遠くまでよく見えますね。」という意味です。
はやくしてほしいときは、「さっさとして」　走るのが遅い車がいたら「前の車、のろのろ遅いなあ」、よくしゃべる人がいれば「ぺちゃくちゃ、ようしゃべるなあ」、友だちが大きな声で笑っていれば「なにゲラゲラ笑ってるの～？」などなど。あげればきりがありません。
私が教えている生徒さんたちも、オノマトペが出てくると、たいてい「それはどういう意味ですか」と聞きます。
外国の方にはわかりずらいオノマトペですが、私たちにとっては、なくてはならないコミュニケーションツールです。　オノマトペを使って話すと、どんな様子かよくわかるし、会話のリズムやテンポがよくなっているように思います。
たとえば、
「車、きれいになりましたね。」より、「車、ピカピカですね。」と言われたほうが、車が光るくらいきれいな感じがします。
「この布団、やわらかくて気持ちいいね」より、「この布団、ふかふかで気持ちいいね！」のほうが布団のやわらかさがよく感じられます。
こんなふうに使われているオノマトペですが、関東より関西に住んでいる人がよく使うそうです。関東とは茨城県、栃木県、群馬県、埼玉県、千葉県、東京都、神奈川県の1都6、関西は県大阪府・京都府・兵庫県・滋賀県・奈良県・和歌山県の2府4県のことです。ちょっと聞いたところでは、江戸時代から関西は関東の武士文化つまり侍の文化に対して、商人文化、商売をする人たちの文化が栄えていたためとか。オノマトペが会話を豊かにし、商売がうまくいくのに役立ったそうです。
だから、今でも関西に住む人たちは、オノマトペをたくさん使って話しをするんですね。
