Hello/Habari! I am Jacinta you can call me Jacy, a native Swahili speaker with a passion of teaching language and culture. I am a very patient person, fun and friendly. With over 4 years of experience teaching Swahili ,I tailor my lessons to each students specific needs whether you are a beginner or advanced learner. My approach combines interactive activities, real world conversations and personalized feedback to make learning both effective and enjoyable. My teaching style relies mostly on the specific students interest. As your tutor, I can help you become confident not just in the Swahili language but also with the social skills that go along with successful communication. I love to make my students feel special and value to their lesson and I can teach students of all levels. I will always be available whenever my students have any questions with Swahili terms and will be willing to help at all times. I love to give notes after teaching a topic for my students to have better reference materials for their practice . You will also get to do a test or quiz after topics just to examine yourself. I have been working with Jacinta for several months. She has been an EXCELLENT instructor, and I highly recommend her! In fact, I was in Kenya for a week, and after only a few months of her lessons, I was having conversations in Swahili. My Swahili was highly complemented-- which I would attribute to her teaching.
