    What is the Egytian phrase for "make yourself comfortable?" Can someone please help me with the correct phrase for that? One Arabic dictionary site had "make yourself comfortable = إستـِر َيـَح But I don't think that is correct. If it is indeed wrong could anyone please give me the correct word or phrase? Thanks everyone!

    Where can I find Disney films in Egyptian Arabic online? (with English and Arabic subtitles please) I'd also enjoy watching any Egyptian Arabic cartoons as well. I've searched YouTube a lot but they never seem to have the whole film. Does anyone have any channel recommendations on YouTube? Thanks for the help. Regards Victor K.

    I agree / I disagree (Egyptian) Hi all, I'm just looking for the Egyptian phrase for that. All other dialects are welcome. I enjoy seeing the different ways of saying different expressions in Arabic. Thank you! Also, do any Egyptians know any good sites or books available to gain vocabulary words in Egyptian Arabic? I'm already using the Kalamni series from AUC. I also am already using a private site and some youtube channels. Any other resources would really help me greatly. Thanks again everyone.

    Are these translations correct? A friend of mine is studying Mandarin and she is wondering if these translations are correct. If they are not even close could anyone please provide other options that are close to the same meanings as these provided. Thank you so much friends for the help. I know my friend will appreciate it. 1. A diamond with a flaw is worth more than a pebble without imperfections. 宁做有瑕玉，不做无暇石 。 2. A gem will be polished without carving and polishing, nor a man perfected without trials. 玉不琢、不成器。 3. Deep doubts, deep wisdom; small doubts, little wisdom. 疑惑深，智慧深；疑惑浅，智慧浅。

    I agree! Maha on YouTube is a great resource. (Learning letters from a native is very important) :) take it slow...learn each letter and vowel one at a time and how to pronounce everything correctly. Have fun with it! Arabic is a beautiful language.

    Yeah, I feel similar to Mohammed on this subject. Some stereotypes of Americans are very exaggerated at times. "It depends" :) 

     

    I think sometimes people think that all Americans eat unhealthy processed food. Which isn't true for everyone. Slowly more people are eating healthier here. But the fast food industry here, like other places, has a big presence unfortunately. 

     

    Although, some people think that Americans don't know languages as well as other nations. Which is true I think overall. It's sad. :( We just don't put as much resources to learning languages as other nations.
