It was a bit cloudy today. I discovered a stunning trait within myself - the potential to be a good hypnotist. As dusk settled in and my mom was cooking, my dad approached me with the intention of setting me more practice. However, I managed to persuade him to hear me read a story I had recently learned - Zootopia. I made a cozy spot for him in my bed, ensuring he was cozy and relaxed. I began reading the story with great passion, albeit in a soft voice. I controlled the pace of my reading, and as his breathing grew heavier and louder, I lowered my voice even more, almost trailing off. Eventually, he fell into a deep, peaceful sleep, snoring heavily. The whole thing happened within ten minutes, but bought me hours of free time. It seemed I had unknowingly hypnotized him with my storytelling hypnotism.

English study has been one of the most important courses for Chinese students for many years. So at first, I just learned to pass the exams. The moment I spontaneously wanted to learn English is when I realized that English can give access to people with diversified backgrounds. I like traveling, the more I travel, the more I realize the importance of English. Every time I wanted to communicate further with travelers I met, I would hope I should have studied harder before. Learning a language well definitely can make my journeys go easier and deeper. I work in a foreign company, reading and writing English is my daily routine. Not very often but sometimes I need to prepare English presentation, so good English skills will also be helpful for my career.

Speaking of holidays,there are a lot of holidays in my country. Today, I will introduce a special holiday to you. It is Qingming Festival. “Qing” means clean and "Ming"means bright in Chinese, there are the real feelings the weather give us during this period around April. This year, the festival will come next week ,and there are a three days vacation waiting for us,too! This festival is not a traditional festival which is full of joy, because we usually cherish the memory of deceased relatives or friends on that day. So, we are a litlle bit sad during the holidays. The weather is also reflects our mood. It changes between warm and chilly. It's also the best time to say goodbye to the past time with cold and get ready to welcome the new time with warm sunshine! A lot of poets wrote many great poems about Qingming Festival. Some of them were sad to express the feelng of lost relatives or friends , the others are positive to celebrate the coming thriving green world. As for me, I can't wait to hold the warm sunshine and breathe the fresh air. I really look forward to meeting a better me in the spring of 2024!

In last week I met a man that works on same school that I work. This week, he continues look brightly for me and today he spokes to me. I think maybe I fall in love with him!
