I will talk about my part time job. I’m working at donut shop. I can eat one donut during my break. I like donuts but I don’t like crowded. The shop is always crowded on weekends. I feel very tired and I don’t want to work on weekends. Next, I’m working at after childcare facilities.I like to take care of children so I enjoy working. I have some friends who are elementary school students. They are really cute and unique. I sometimes go on excursions with the children, such as aquariums and trampoline parks. In addition, I’m working at restaurant. I'm not good at customer service. So I'm not interested in that part-time job. However, this is the job I’ve had the longest , and I have been working for a year. If I were to start a new part-time job, I would like to work at a pet shop. Because I have a dog and like to take care of it. I also love puppies very much.

Last week was busy but fun. On Friday night, I went drinking with my coworkers from my part-time job. We talked a lot about work, school, and our hobbies. Everyone was laughing, and it made me feel really close to them. It was nice to relax after a long week. The next day, I met my university friends, and we went to karaoke together. We sang a lot of songs—some Japanese, some English. I’m not a great singer, but it was so much fun. We stayed there for a few hours, just singing, talking, and laughing. On Sunday, I went to a brow salon. It was my first time going there, and the staff were very kind. My eyebrows looked much better after that, so I was happy. Later that day, I also went to the dentist. I don’t really like going, but it’s important to take care of my teeth. Overall, last week was a mix of fun, relaxation, and self-care. I spent good time with friends and also took care of myself.

What do you struggle with the most in regards to speaking American English with native English speakers? Is it coming up with words to say? It's pronouncing them clearly so your listener can fully understand? Is it saying enough so you don't sound limited or be able to give enough variety in your responses so you don't sound repetitive? Is it phrasal verbs? Do you use them? Do you understand them? Do you know how many there are? What about your confidence? Do you second guess yourself when you speak English? Do you have a lot of 'ums' and 'uhs' when you speak American English? Do you repeat words and phrases? Do you have long pauses in between your words and phrases? Do you translate in your head before you say it? Do you depend on translating? Do you say the bare minimum which is only the few things you know how to say but if someone asks you to 'say more.' you'd have difficulty? Are you not really sure where you struggle? Have you ever had someone from the United States... a tutor or teacher really judge your speaking and give you feedback?
