I am a very friendly and patient teacher. I’ve been a language teacher for more than 20 years and I love it! I taught students from one-year-old kids to adults in person. For online lessons, I usually teach students from eight-year-old to adults. There's nothing like seeing my students getting excited about learning Japanese in my class. It gives me such a sense of accomplishment. My motto for learning Japanese is to make mistakes without worrying too much and to speak a lot in Japanese. Have fun with it :)

Also, I joined activities to teach Japanese culture and language to people. Since my returning to Japan, I have had many opportunities to interact with many local people from all over the world when I visit abroad for my job of movie making. To learn a new language should be a lot of fun, a source of joy and good time, however many people try and get frustrated. We all can learn as many languages as we want, but we should learn in natural way, like any child learns his mother tongue. As adults we frequently try to learn a new language in ways that are just not conductive. Dry repetition and memorization don’t help. A language is much more than words, a new language is like a new life. Japanese is a fascinating language of a fascinating country. I love to teach Japanese and about our food, our order and good manners, the anime and manga and many other fantastic oddities that exist only in Japan.
