Your Friendly Neighborhood Italian Tutor! 🗣 My class' focus is on conversation full of vocabulary terms for the student to learn. The topic will change every time: culture, food, literature, recipes, movies, travels... 🤹🏻 The students will describe pictures, do dictation activities and funny exercises, but mostly talk about their routine, their travels, and more. At the end of the class I always tell my students my thoughts about their Italian skills based on the conversation we had, and I give them some tips to improve progressively. ⭐️ This is a safe space: feel free to share your thoughts, make mistakes and make questions. I’m very adaptable and flexible, and I easily adjust to each student’s needs, having already had the chance to teach people of different age groups. My short-term goal is to share my love for the Italian language and culture and help students achieve results starting from the very first lesson. What my passion for foreign languages has taught me is the importance of making mistakes, learning through conversation and real-life situations (which are often very different from what’s written in textbooks). Ho conseguito la laurea magistrale in lingua e cultura italiane per stranieri presso l' università di Bologna. Ho un master di secondo livello in "Teoria, progettazione e didattica dell'italiano come lingua seconda e straniera" conseguito presso l'università di Palermo. Ho esperienze di insegnamento della lingua italiana, francese e inglese sia in ambito privato che pubblico. Mi piace spiegare, trovare modi diversi per trasmettere regole e contenuti linguistici e credo soprattutto che l'insegnamento sia un processo cooperativo che avviene tra insegnante e studenti.
