Cambridge English teacher and examiner with nine years teaching experience in schools and companies I graduated in Spanish with English Language at Westminster University in London, in 2011, and that's when I first started considering teaching. I took my DITALS (Italian Teaching certificate) in 2012, and started teaching English privately at the same time. I then took my TEFL certification in 2016 and straight after that I began teaching English professionally. I taught Business English in Florence for two years, then I moved to Sicily where I currently teach English to children, teenagers and adults. I've also taught Italian privately to foreign students, such as Japanese, English and Americans.

I have been a French, English and Italian private teacher and tutor for people of all ages for the past five years, both in Italy, France, Brazil and California. Since I was a kid, the language learning process always fascinated me. Furthermore, my sympathy towards refugees and immigrants' cause enhanced even more my passion for language teaching, the pillar of societal integration. Thanks to the diversity of my students, I have become easily adaptable to my students' needs and interests. If you want to come to Italy, even if your level is beginner, with few words you can manage it, go shopping, ask for information, book a hotel or things like this. As intermediate you can talk about all the aspects of the everyday life, or express deeper concepts, and I can help you to choose the right words and the correct sentence structures, that ones that italians use in a normal conversation. If you have particular needs or interest, we can deepen some topic or a specific technical language. I can also teach you the most common idioms in the spoken Italian, and we can even have a look to our body language, that we use very often.

After graduating with honors in English and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Bologna and receiving a CELTA pass A, I have taught for fifteen years to all levels and age groups. I have experienced the public and private school systems in Italy and Mexico, where I taught both language and literature. I am an enthusiastic person and as a teacher I would describe myself as competent, energetic and fun (at least so they say!). I am also very patient and I try to find the right approach for every student, so they can make the most of our classes and feel satisfied with their progress.
