It's overcast today, and there's no sign of the temperature rising anytime soon. My dad made off with a pair of wool socks from me since he doesn't have any decent winter garments, other than his tweed jacket. He has no parka, no thermals – nothing at all. This is a common occurrence here, with people getting caught off guard. To my surprise, my wool socks stretched enough to fit his feet. I just hope he doesn't get any funny ideas about borrowing my coats, after all, twill doesn’t stretch at all.

While talking about food, usually a special food automatically comes into my mind, it's instant noodles. There is a joke about instant noodles my friends always share. It says that when we were children,we didn't have money (because we were really poor and had no pocket money) to afford a bag of instant noodles.As we grew up, we don't have money, only to eat instant noodles.( we just have few money which can only afford instant noodles) Though it'sjust a joke, it reflects that instant noodles have a high position in our heart. It tastes great either just sprinkling the seasoning on the samshed dry noodles, or put it in a pot to stew and add vegetables and eggs. We can cook it in a variety of ways, which depend on what you have stored in your fridge. As for me, after eating many meals which are full of meat, a bowl of instant noodles can comfort my stomach well. I am able to quickly get back my appetite with a bowl of instant noodles which just costs my 10 minutes to cook it.

I got a unsatisfied mark at final English exam.Actually many friends all said that they didn't has a good feeling when English exam started.Knowing that I feel mach better. when I conducted my exam,the first time I wanted to escape from there.

I think there are two biggest challenges during my journey of English learning. The first one is that I can't help making small grammar mistakes when I am speaking, and I can even realize half of the mistakes I made in second. But I'd better not stop to revise my sentences because it will destroy my fluency. I am considering is there a effective way to practice both accuracy and fluency？ The second one is that I feel it is hard for me to improve further based on my current level, I mean I can handle the basic conversions in daily life and workplace but when it comes to more professional occasions I feel the gap. I keep taking English speaking classes but I feel the efficiency of learning is lower than before. The speed of improvement is slower.
