Some people think that music as a school subject is an essential part of personal growth, while others consider teaching music at school wasteful. I would like to discuss both views and give my opinion. Music helps cultivates not only musical techniques but also sense of beauty, creative expression and cooperation with others. All of those aspects definitely nurture young minds and add precious experience to schooldays. Music classes in Japan often make students practise for choir at graduation or other events, which creates sense of belonging and makes ever-lasting memories. In addition, music serves in raising cultural awareness. Traditional music encourages students to learn about their contry's culture and history. World music showcases diversity. On the other hand, critics think teachers should focus on more important subjects, such as science and languages. It is true that music has subjective qualities which make it hard to achieve objective goals or evaluate students' performance appropriately. Additionally, music is usually not required on high school or university entrance exams except for musical courses. In fact, many private high schools in Japan only teach music in the first year. Some claim that such practices widen the gaps of academic performance between public and private schools, lessening the popularity of the former. To summarise, music plays an important roles in a youth life, but it has several aspects which do not fit in today's education system. I think school needs to balance music and other subjects in the curriculum.

I think it is an effective way to protect wild animals, as it means to stop killing from the source. Sometimes people kill for ridiculous reasons. For example, the sharp fin and bear paw are regarded as one of the most nutritive food, and also can be seen as a top fancy dish. But they are just meat from weird parts... The elephant poacher kill elephants only because of their ivories. But there are millions of materials can be shaped to decorations instead... I support “no trade no killing” with my two hands. We don't need to understand the "weird" needs from some "weird" groups, we just stop them to circulate in markets. If the animal products can not make money any more, there will be less and less people will work on it as a business. I think a sever penalty is also necessary accordingly.
