A Fiver, Half Seven, the Twenty-Seventh of October: Money, Times and Dates | Real British English #095
Descrizione
Money, times and dates come up all day at home, and British people say them in short, casual ways. Learners often hear "It's a tenner" or "See you at half seven" and freeze. Speakers of German and Dutch have a special trap: in their languages "half seven" means 6.30, but in British English it means 7.30.
