Cite, site or sight?
Cite, site and sight are examples of homophones. Homophones are words that are spelled differently but sound the same.
Cite is a verb meaning to make reference to or to quote something.
"She cited the relevant journals for her assignment."
Site is a noun meaning location.
"This was the site where the inauguration took place."

Sight is both a noun and a verb that refers to seeing.
