It consists of noodles made from wheat flour in a delicious soup. There are many kinds of soup, including tonkotsu (pork bone broth), shoyu (soy sauce), miso and shio (salt). My favourite is tonkotsu ramen because the soup is rich with depth in flavour. The toppings on ramen are also wonderful, ranging from char siu (roast pork), menma (bamboo shoots), seasoned egg to green onions and so on. Slurping a bowl of piping hot ramen makes me feel happy.
