Hi, LAC here 😄 I'm an INTENSE learner of DE & NL (At times, PT and EN) [My lesson preferences 📚] ➜Debating. The most controversial, the better. ➜Fluid dynamics: role-play, games, etc. ➜REPETITION IS KEY when learning. I can repeat insights hundreds of times w/no problem. ➜I work w/ tutors/teachers who can TRACK these learnings rather than being passive listeners w/no long-term plan. ➜To track progress: I work w/ spreadsheets when having dozens of lessons together. ➜Preferred tool of communication: Zoom 👈🏼 ➜When having lessons, I STICK to the target language AMAP. LAC is een leergierige leerling en het is prettig om een gesprek met hem te voeren. Hij kan al een aardig woordje Nederlands en is erg geïnteresseerd en vriendelijk.

Nach längerer Pause durfte ich LAC wieder in unserer Stunde begrüßen und ich war positiv überrascht, dass sein Deutsch sich nicht verschlechtert hat. Im Gegenteil, wir konnten uns ausgezeichnet unterhalten und LAC war super motiviert und engagiert. Toll!

    I got a B2 in German. My goal is still reviewing and learning all concepts lower and higher than that level :) There is always room for improvement. Learning tips? Of course, finding language partners on Italki ;)[Изображение]

    Autumn is just perfect. The weather is not really hot nor too cold, making possible different kinds of activities without worrying too much about wearing sunscreen (as in summer), carrying umbrellas (as in winter), or having allergies (as in spring). Autumn wins.

    Biggest Chilean celebrations take place in September, where we have a couple of holiday days, to enjoy and be proud of our country.

    I have already achieved my Italki Challenge goals, but it's inspiring to see other motivated students who practice a lot, just like myself. In the end, when it is not possible to travel as much as we want, we can still progress a lot with online lessons :)

    Hi. Even though I don't study or learn Italian, I was curious to check your profile based on your post. You already got bunch of feedback and surely mine would not make a difference, but here I go anyway: -Video quality is under average -The video doesn't make me to watch it further after 10-15 seconds. Some spark + extra confidence could make a difference toward the camera. (My personal taste tbh. I check bunch of English/Dutch/German tutors weekly and I got few impressions in a quick look). Also your availability on your calendar is quite reduced. Therefore that could explain the lack of students. Italian is language not really "that" popular and with English, as you might already know, you compete with native speakers. Still, chances to improve your profile and trying different techniques, will surely show you the best approach. This is a lot of trial and error. Ps: I am not a teacher here but I do have quite a lot of experience with Italki, so I hope that my student view can help :-)
