I can definitely see you are becoming more confident with your speaking. In each lesson you are second guessing yourself less and less! 💪🏼 In this lesson you almost gave up with a conditional phrase you started to form... and when you finished it, it came out perfectly. 🏆 Kudos to you, Federica! Your hard work in paying off 🌟

This week I noticed that you didn't need as much time to think about how to say what you wanted to express before saying it - and hat's something to be very proud of! Today we played a conversation question game (congrats on winning btw! hehe) and we also reviewed some challenging phrasal verbs. Next time we can work in some phrasal verb practice into our conversation! Have a great weekend!

I always look forward to our conversations, Federica! You express your thoughts really well in English and you take feedback with a smile. Oftentimes you question yourself when you're speaking, but nine times out of ten you're saying it perfectly. With more practice the confidence will come, but I'm here to remind you to believe in yourself! ;)

Today we discussed a TedTalk about creativity. We also talked about creative professions and compared art schools in the U.S. and Italy. You did a great job expressing your thoughts and opinions. I'm happy the video was able to give you some advanced vocabulary and phrases. Looking forward to next Tuesday!

Tengo que preparar una presentación en español sobre unos patines desmontables. Pero cuando hablo de la fase de enganche es mejor hablar de “fijación” o “sujeción”? Hay una parte del patín que asegura la fijación/sujeción de la zapatilla al patín

Hi everyone! While being covid positive I wanted to share some thoughts. I've been using italki for about a year so far and I'm really happy to have made that decision. I strongly believe that my English has improved in so many aspects, even if I'm aware of the fact that I'm still far from what I call "talking like a native". One year ago I was terrified of English, I was unconfident and felt inferior compared to so many people who I heard spoke really good English. I know that I'm still making mistakes, that my vocabulary is not wide as I'd want it to be and that the road is still long in order to achieve a complete fluency but I'm working hard on it and I'm grateful to have joined this Community.

I think that the best gift parents can gige to their children is love and support. In some ways it’s true that “money can buy us happiness” but when it comes to family, an expensive gift is worth nothing compared to a hug or words of love and support.

That’s not a big problem ‘cause the adjective in spanish can be before or after the noun but you will hear it mostly after the noun. However if you says “nueva palabra” is definitely not a mistake
