Hi everyone, Having taught French to students of many different nationalities, I’ve noticed a recurring theme: Many people who want to learn French are planning a trip, looking for work, or have a cultural interest in France. Don't forget that—thanks to French overseas territories and departments, as well as former colonies (a legacy I don't necessarily endorse from an ethical standpoint)—French is spoken in many places around the globe. It spans from Metropolitan France to the French West Indies (Martinique and Guadeloupe), Madagascar, Réunion Island, Mauritius, French Polynesia, and New Caledonia, as well as French Guiana in South America and Quebec in Canada. It is truly an international language—and one that’s always handy to master if you’re traveling to these diverse locations! Best regards in your improvements François

Today’s Word: शहर (Shahar) Meaning: City 💡 GRAMMAR CHECK (Very Important!): In Hindi, the verb changes based on your gender. 🙋‍♀️ If you are Female: "मैं गाजियाबाद शहर में रहती हूँ।" (Main Ghaziabad shahar mein rehti hoon) 🙋‍♂️ If you are Male: "मैं पेरिस शहर में रहता हूँ।" (Main Paris shahar mein rehta hoon) --- 📝 YOUR CHALLENGE: Tell me your city! Write a sentence in the comments using रहता हूँ or रहती हूँ. Example: "मैं न्यूयॉर्क में रहती हूँ।" I will check your grammar and gender agreement in the replies! ✅
