描述
Level B2 (approx. band 5.5-6.5) · Academic and General Training Some Listening tasks give you a flow-chart: a set of boxes joined by arrows, showing the steps of a process. You might hear a guide explaining how paper is recycled, or a student describing how an experiment was done. Learners often lose track because the speaker adds extra detail between the steps, or because the step words come in a different form from the boxes. In this episode: • What a flow-chart task looks like • Sequencing language • Predicting stage words • Following steps when the speaker adds detail • Listening lab • Language bridge • Practice • Self-check questions with answers Key points: • Read the chart as a story first, so you know which step comes next. • Sequencing words are your arrows. Each one usually means "move to the next box". • Predict the form and the meaning of each stage before the speaker reaches it. • Extra detail is not a new step. Wait for a new action or a new sequencing word. IELTS Complete Course: a self-study podcast from A1 to C2 for Academic and General Training. Listen, pause and answer, then take the 52-question quiz. Audio voiced with AI from an original script by Dr. Rashmi R Nair. Independent course, not affiliated with the IELTS test owners.
