I ran. It was started 25 runners, I began in the middle of the group. Due to my late arriving the start camp, I was able neither to worry nor to take a look at other participants. At first, my plan was to find out who was going to run 5:30-5:40 min per km. That pace gave me a possibility to finish in 4 hours. So I would follow that runner. But I had no time to do it before the start. The group starched as soon as we had started. I turned out to run behind one of two female runners. I assumed by her shape and her running style that she was an athlete. Later, I learned I was right. She was a skier (nordic ski, cross country ski). Her pace seemed proper for me. So I am going to follow her. I overtook her a bit later and asked what the time she was waiting (considering). She, as well as I was, was going to finish sub four hours. Great! I’ve found a partner. “What is our pace”, I asked pointing to her sport watch with a GPS receiver. It turned out to be 5:04. Hmm, pretty fast. I am not going to run so quickly. She was planning to run in such a pace neither. (She was not planning to run in such a pace either.) We made a few remarks back and forth and decided to keep our pace for 5-10 km, anyway, we could reduce anytime. We ran giving a hand to each other. So she and I had been running following 35 kilometers. (To be continued...)

I turned on the Strava.com app and pushed {or "pressed"} a the heart rate monitor button. I ran. It was started with 25 runners, I began in the middle of the group. Due to my late arrival at the starting camp gate, I was neither able neither to worry nor to take a look at other participants. At first, my plan was to find out who was going to run 5:30-5:40 min per km. That pace gave would give me a the possibility to finish in four hours. So I would follow that runner. But I had no time to do it before the start. The group starched stretched out as soon as we had started. I turned out to ended up running behind one of two female runners. I assumed by her shape and her running style that she was an athlete. Later, I learned (that) I was right. She was a skier (nordic skiing, cross country skiing). Her pace seemed proper {better word: "appropriate"} for me. So I am going to follow her. I overtook her a bit later and asked what the time she was waiting expecting (considering) {better term: target time}. She, as well as I was, was going to finish sub four hours. Great! I’ve found a partner. “What is our pace?”, I asked pointing to her sport watch with a GPS receiver. It turned out to be 5:04. Hmm, pretty fast. I am not going to run so quickly. She wasn't planning to run in such a sustained pace neither. (She was not planning to run in such a pace either.) We made a few remarks back and forth and decided to keep our pace for at 5-10 km, anyway, we could reduce slow down {or "ease back"} anytime. We ran while giving a hand to each other a hand. So she and I had been running following (like this) through the next 35 kilometers.

Please note, many of these changes are cosmetic, not necessarily errors.  Good job.  Great pace!
