Dutch teacher Alie Hello! My name is Alie and I would love to help you learn Dutch. I am a native Dutch speaker born and raised in the north of The Netherlands. I like to teach Dutch using general conversations about any topic you would like to talk about. I speak 5 languages so I know how hard it can be learning a new language. I am a big fan of coffee so hopefully see you soon so we can have a virtual coffee together! I am an experienced teacher as I have been teaching languages for several years. My teaching style is informal conversations about any topic, trying always to include local expressions and slang words, which you usually cannot find in conventional lessons. I have a great sense of humor so we will have lots of fun during our conversations, while improving your language skills at the same time. My goal is to make you feel confident in using the Dutch language in daily life.

She is the best teacher. She makes sure I talk A LOT during the lesson (something I had requested in advance as I know sometimes I tend to shy away when learning a new language). She always has a nice question to start the conversation and her corrections are polite and respectful! 10/10 ✨

Ik vind lessen met Alie altijd leuk. Ik kan veel praten, ze corrigiert me ook veel, ze komt ook meestal met andere manieren om uitdrukkingen te zeggen... helaas maak ik ze hard werken in elke les! Vooral vliegt de tijd voorbij in elke les en vermaken we ons prima.

Alie's approach is very youthful, she impressed me right from the first minutes. She really cares that her pupils leave nothing to chance, she insists on the topics but in a pleasant way. We started with a lesson on pronunciation, I will continue with her without a doubt.
